Green Chili Chicken Burger
Yield: Makes 8 Patties
Chicken Patty
  • 2 pounds ground chicken or turkey
  • 4 Tbsp green chiles, fire roasted and diced (comes in a 4oz can)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
Buns of Choice
  • Portabella Mushrooms can be used for Buns
  • lettuce can be buns
  • Gluten-Free“Ramen Buns”- See recipe
Condiments of Choice
  • Vegenaise
  • tomatoes
  • lettuce
  • sprouts
  • avocado
  • cucumber
  1. Using a large spoon, In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients together for the Chicken Patty.
  2. Place coconut oil on the skillet and heat to medium high heat.
  3. This chicken mixture is quite soft and will stick to your hands if you try to shape it into patties so just place a spoonful on the greased skillet.
  4. Let it cook on one side for a few minutes and then flip it over and press it down into a patty with the turning spatula.
  5. Cook on both sides until it is done in the middle.
  6. Serve hot.
  7. Can eat them as is or serve on buns of choice such as mushrooms or lettuce or Ramen Buns.
