Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe

It’s hard to go wrong when you put two of the most well loved fruits together and turn them into a cold, refreshing smoothie. Kids will especially love you for this one.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Yield: 5 cups
  • 1 cup coconut water (could use apple juice but any other juice will overpower the strawberry & banana flavor).
  • 1 cup purified water
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen chopped bananas
  • Sweeten if desired with 5 drops of stevia or 1 date or 1 Tbsp of raw honey
  1. Blend all ingredients together in a high powered blender.
  2. Add more fruit or liquid for your personal desired consistency.

  • 2 Tbsp protein powder, vanilla or plain or yogurt or milk of choice.
  • Crushed Ice if you like smoothies more like an icee like my kids do.
  • 1 cup of greens of choice: Kale, collards or spinach. Beware that it will change the color to brown and your kids will know (ha-ha). It helps to be more discrete, at least during the transition period, and green smoothies are a lot more appealing than brown.
